Buying Pre-Split Firewood is so Convenient | Washing Firewood

I never thought I would buy this much pre-split firewood, but the numbers actually work for sales in the firewood road-side stand. Today Frieze Firewood out of Phillips, WI delivered 8 face cord of hard maple, to add to my business firewood inventory.

So far, I have purchased 14 face cord of firewood from Frieze Firewood. While it costs more per face cord (compared to buying a truck load of logs), a ton of time is saved not bucking and splitting rounds. 

This isn't to say, that I won't be picking up a load of logs in the future as that is the cheapest way to get firewood into the woodyard, but for now, I need to get ahead in my inventory.
