This is the Best RV and Camper Stabilizing Block out there!
The Request
During the summer of 2023, I discovered a request from someone on a local Facebook group. The person was looking for someone with the proper tools to build him custom wood stabilizing block for his new 5th camper he was getting, as he didn't have the tools required. I agreed to build the stabilizing blocks for him as requested!
I can do it better
Fast forward a few weeks later and we decided to upgrade our camper and I knew I needed new leveling blocks. I really liked the design I built for the Facebook customer, but I decided to improve it a bit.
This design utilizes 8 laminated 2x6's, milled down and glued together. Once painted, 1/2" rubber mats are glued and screwed on both sides of the block: this provides an awesome foundation for the RV and also protects both the rv leveling jack and the ground it sits on. The block is finished with a chest handle for easy maneuvering.

The results
I built 6 blocks for our 2023 Grand Design Reflection 311BHS. They have been used over 20 camping nights between August 2023 and May 2024. But, during the winter of 2023-2024, the camper also sat on these leveling blocks the whole winter! And they still look like new!
Real-life testimonials:
Random Person in Gatlinburg Tennessee: "Did you make those? They look really nice."
Customer 1: "By the way, your RV blocks have been holding up fantastically people are always asking me about them."
Customer 2 (Me): "They are super durable. Provide a stable foundation. Currently have used for over 20 nights and 4500 miles of RV travels on the road, plus RV sat on them all winter. Still in like new condition, except for dirt and wear marks on the surface. These are the best blocks I have owned since beginning to RV in 2020."
